Transform your ground meat into a tender and flavorful kebob dish by mixing some of this zesty blend in. If the meat is in chunks, mix this seasoning with lemon juice and a small amount of yogurt and spread over the meat as a marinade.
First, you’re going to need a pound of meat, any of your choice. Just make sure to wash the meat thoroughly under clean water.
Then prep the meat up for some good marinating by removing some of the extra moisture from its surface. Set aside.
For the marinade, you’re going to need a tbsp. of Greek yogurt and 4 tbsp. of Shafa Blends' Turkish Kebab Seasoning. Mix ‘em well together!
Then place the meat in a plastic or glass container and pour the marinade goodness over it. Seal and let it sit in the fridge for about 8 hours or overnight.
When ready, pop the meat out of the fridge and get ready to poke ‘em in skewers. If you’re going to use wooden skewers instead of metals, it’s best to soak them in water for around 30 minutes just to prevent the sticks from burning.
Finally, set your burners, get ready to grill – or broil!
