French Mustard and Herb
When we hear mustard, we think of the conventional hotdog sandwich which is just not so fun of a treat anymore, especially when it’s not even baseball season yet.
Talk about taking things up a notch, the brilliant mixture of dried ground mustard, zest of orange, seeds of fennel and celery, onion, thyme and pepper that have been all well-cultivated during their bloom is what makes our herbaceous French Mustard and Herb Blend just downright irresistible on any delicacy.
Go on and use it as coating to season your potato wedges just before you pop them in the oven at 180C degrees for 30-35 minutes. Use as rub for any meat of your choice – such as fish, pork or chicken – before you grill or broil them to a zesty tangy perfection. Bake mind-blowing meat and cheese-stuffed potatoes, how? Simply add a tablespoon of this mix while you sauté some ground beef or chicken into a skillet until brown, just before you stuff ‘em into top-hollowed potatoes (precooked in oven for 15 minutes). Then, top with a slice of cheese and pop in the oven at 180C degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. If you’re diet’s restricted to veggies, simply replace the meat stuffing with sautéed mashed cauliflowers, mushroom and bell peppers. Simple as that!
